This listing is odd, to say the least. I'm not sure how to catagorize it. What style is this home? The listing says it was built in 1929 and I can see it in the shape, but it looks like the garage is an addition and the facade appears to have been altered. I would love to find an old photo of the house from when it was built to compare.
The interior is part 1920's and part 1970's. At this asking price, there is an opportunity to rip out the 1970's and restore the 1920's charm. The Mount Airy Lodge Pocono-esque heart shaped tub, kinky porn set of a headboard and ceiling mirrors and the, most likely, crusty shagadelic carpets need to go, using full hazmat gear of course. The butler's pantry, especially the inlaid floor, and the green bathroom are to die for vintage. With some TLC, this place could really shine. I might be able to live with the exterior, minus the harlequin detail above the garage. What do you think? How would you fix this one up?
