2019 Modern Tiny House in Germantown, Maryland

Though I love tiny houses, I don't tend to post about mobile tiny homes because the designs are often very similar and, for most people, the small sizes would feel pretty cramped, but when I saw this one on House Hunters recently ("Downsizing in Maryland"), I thought it was worth posting. I've posted traditionally built modern houses that come pretty close to this design, maybe a bit wider.

The show said the model was 480 SF, but the builder's website says that it's 540 SF. When you look at the pricing, it's also off when compared to the pricing on the show, but that may also have to do with the square footage. The best part is that the appliances are not RV sized. Either way, this is a roomy, livable, modern, single-level floor plan that would be great for a someone (or a couple) just starting out, looking to downsize or would make a great vacation home. The builders used to rent the model on airbnb, but the link is no longer active. Too bad. It's a great way for people to find out if they would feel comfortable going tiny.
