This is a gem! I wouldn't change a thing! I love all of the period details, especially the butler's pantry and the sleeping porch, as well as the retro updates that appear to have been done in the 50's, especially the kitchen. Based on previous listing photos, it looks like the current owner only tore out walls on the second floor to insulate, but was careful in their restoration efforts not to disturb many of the original details. The agent's suggestion to turn this home into condos makes me extremely sad. If it can't remain a single family home, why not suggest a BnB? Old house lovers would appreciate staying in a home like this.
