French-Parks House, 1889 Transitional Victorian in Tahlequah, Oklahoma

This is a beautiful old home, covered in vines that needs to be removed asap, is on the historic registry. The listing details from the realtor on this home are slim, to say the least. I did a very quick Internet search and found a little history on the home. I've added some text from Ancestry.com as well as a link to an article about the history of the home from the local newspaper.

I wish there were more pictures on this listing. It's not easy to imagine the floor plan and I assume there is much more to see inside. According to the article I found, the home was used as an office space most recently. If anyone has been inside, please leave a comment with any information. I'm curious to know more about this one.

Jane Anna French House
Something borrowed could be the theme for this house built in 1889 and given to Jane Anna as a wedding gift by her father. Brick and symmetry were borrowed from the Federal style (1780-1820). Decorative quoining from the Renaissance period garnish the exterior corners of the house. The home also has characteristics of the Carpenter Gothic style (1870-1910). Jane Anna was the wife of Constable Robert M. French, and was the daughter of wealthy Tahlequah merchant Johnson Thompson.
