Fans of "Unsolved Mysteries" may recognize this as the storefront from which Tom Young, who rented it for his bookstore, left for a walk with his dog and never returned. He had told his friends he was going on vacation, so it was three weeks before anyone knew he was missing. Months later, Keith Reinhard rented the space and opened an antiques store and became obsessed with the disappearance of the former occupant. He began to write a book in which the main character appeared to be a combination of himself and Tom. On July 31, 1988, ten months after his disappearance, Tom's and his dog's skeletal remains were found by hunters. The Cause of death was gunshot wounds to the head and authorities ruled Tom's death a suicide.
